I have the TJM plates under mine, not particularly impressed. I would rather a 4mm plate.

fido666, that's over four months ago that I fitted the plates so do not remember now, but I took several measurements of different plates at the time. The thickness wasn't the issue, but comparing to the ARB plates, the ARB setup appears like it would handle a bigger hit, albeit fiddlier to fit and remove. The reason I changed to the ARB plates was because of the matchup with the ARB bullbar. It was no longer possible to fit the ARB plate that goes from the bullbar to the front crossmember anymore, which would have left the intercooler unprotected. Here for a good time, not a long time!

MarcL do you have a d4d model? Mines a d4d however I'm in nz and any 4x4 parts aren't as accessible over here. Do I need to be specific when talking to our stockist about my truck being d4d and manual? I'm also interested in the bullbar too.
