  • Positive Feedback for Customer Service

Our jungle reef outdoors swags leaked.
    We took them back.
    We expected the usual.
He asked what can I do to make you happy?
I replied, refund me. Change the design to fix the problem. Then send me 3 more for free to try.
We now have new free swags, lets see how they go......

Jungle reef is techniice mob in frankston.

My bushskins bash plate got badly bent, using it for what it was designed for.
When I was fitting it I expressed my opinion about the lack of centre support.
It's 4mm, well maybe it de not need it, but then I'm driving......

So I let bushskins know, Kieron is a bloody legend, he has redesigned it with a good centre support.
He offered to send me a new one. I accepted. It's growse. He thanked me for telling them & my help to improve it.
I believe iTs a great product, at a very reasonable price on eBay.

My Mickey Thompson atz4 ribs had some unusual cracking.
MT REP Had a look & replaced them. He explained what may have happened & that its very unusual.
I have heard of people with faulty MT's and not being covered also.

I must say REPCO are very good to me.
        I'm a trade account holder.
They have always sorted anything out quite reasonably.
Often parts & labour, which is uncommon in the auto trade.
        Supercheap are good too.

In recent years the worst I have been treated on personal claims & parts for customers has been from TOYOTA AUSTRALIA absolutely disgusting. I won't buy a vehicle still under warranty & will avoid genuine parts for this reason.
They make good cars (except for d4d injectors :-)) but warranty is pathetic. Naturally some ppl get lucky, but many know what i Mean.

What's wrong? Nobody else had good service?
            I wouldn't be surprised.

You know, you have to demand it, chase it, shouldn't have to, but if you let it go they will just keep giving us Sh!t
I do make sure I get a fair conclusion, as you may have seen? Yep making the world a better place. Lol......

Ok I'm going to find something else to post on now.

I've had good service from Roadsafe (makers of recovery points and other 4WD parts). I bought a set of 150 recovery points via one of their re-sellers on eBay and had issues fitting them due to the T13 bar's mounting system and KDSS. They have had me out to their Melbourne office twice now, first to look at the problem, then to test fit the points following a modification and re-fabrication.

Haven't quite finished with them yet as just waiting for destruction testing to be completed. They gave me a hitch receiver after the first visit for my trouble and will fit the points for me once they are in production. While some time has elapsed I'm happy that they have listened and made changes to the product based on my feedback.

I should also thank TJM Dandenong for taking the time to try and fit these for me earlier on in the process despite not having sold them to me. No charge for the work and explained why they wouldn't fit them by showing me in the workshop.

Bob Jane Spring Wood QLD. Bent over backwards to help me out and was prepared to finish the job on my camper trailer after hours (they finished just on time) to make sure we would leave for Darwin the next morning.

The price, customer service and waiting area (not many places have them which this one had a coffee machine that made perfect cappuccinos) was excellent.

                    Winston.

My window tint was scuffing badly at the tops of my windows where it seats into the door frame, anyway I didn't really pay much attention to it until the mrs pointed it out, which was a year after having it installed. Also when it was put on the car I was away and the wife picked it up but received no paperwork of any kind but was told "lifetime warranty".
Anyway I went back to the shop about a month ago (over 12 months after install) thinking in the back of my head "I bet this is going to be a battle".
So I ask the bloke if he could come and have a look at the car, tell him it was over a year ago blah blah. He looked at the car, looked at me and said "mate that's shit, I don't know what's happened there but don't worry i'll sort it right out. But can you leave it until next thursday when I've got a quiet day as i'd also like to pull your doors apart just to make sure your windows are tracking right just incase there's a problem there."

I just thought to myself WOW now that's customer service. TBH I haven't been back there to get him to do it yet but I will shortly. He will be getting a case of beer when I pick my car up just for being a good bloke and a good businessman.
I don't even know the name of the business to post up as I have no paperwork lol but I will give them a mention when I go up & see them next.

                      Cheers
                      James

Kev from TJM in Coffs (often seen in many Magazines as a tour leader etc) has always made things happen and helped me out. Its the small things that count.

I had an issue with a UHF, he went a pulled the UHF out of his personal car so I didnt have to be without for a week while it got fixed.

Couple of weeks later I blew a globe in my lightforce lights, he grabbed one and gave it to me.

When I had an accident in my Cruiser, between Absolute Paint and Panel and Coffs TJM, they replaced the Toyota Bar with a TJM bar, added fog lights (were in the new bar), and serviced the winch while they were at it.

Also If you need any track advice or planning a trip, Kev is always willing to run over a map and help you out.

I've had good service with Windsor Toyota with my 120. I know this is a 150 Discussion thread so shoot me. Anyone have anything to report on Torque Toyota North Lakes? I'll be residing up that way soon.

                              Cheers Jim.
