Fido there was a kerfuffle a while back with grey import LedLensers. Since then I have managed to get the evilbay pricing from a local camping place / army disposals on local product. Expect to pay about $80 for a P7. The EA4 was a remarkably good price. If you are interested I can post up the vendor. #2 son wants to buy one of the larger lights that has a small supernova inside. Not sure why.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

I posted this up for a previous thread. Tree is about 50m away and the shots are maglight (std), P7 and P14. There is another thread on here somewhere about torches...
H7 vs P7
H7, P14, P7
Maglight, P7, P14
The maglight is only good as a kosh. I have seen the LED equipped ones and they still aren't up to the LedLensers and equivalent.
If I can wake up enough I will shoot the EA4 vs the P7.
EDIT: no possums were harmed in the taking of these photographsMy 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

If Led Lenser is the way you go i will let you in on a little secret,
Bunnings can supply Led Lenser and if you go to them with a price (online or instore) they will beat it by 10%. Just make sure the price is final with shipping if that costs or without if it is free and you will pick up the worlds best torch for a bargain every time. Imported by Zen Imports (may need to tell your local Bunnings as they probably aren't aware of the brand). My Grande Build Up

OK guys I haven't played with the EA4 since getting a couple of weeks ago and #2 took it for Venturer duties. So I stole it back and set up outside with the P7, P14 and EA4. I am stunned. The camera is in manual with manual focus so the exposure is the same for all the shots at 15 seconds and f6.7. Hand held on a trestle so don't judge the photography.
P7 left and P14. Both on maximum distance minimum spread.
EA4 on its own
And next to the P14, again on maximum distance.
Holy crap Batman!
I bought it from these guys

Arrived in less than a week and a bit less than $80 Oz. No adjustment on the width of the beam and the first shot is on turbo while the second is on Hi.
Corine just buy one, or its bigger brother...
PS: the orange lights you can see through the trees are possums exploding next door after I fired up the EA4.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

If you don't need to fry the hairs off a possum at 50 paces or signal cargo ships from a cliff top, the bat lights from bunnings are great. Under 30 bucks with built in rechargeable batteries. Comes with wall charger and car charger an it's basically like a book. First click and the led at the end lights up. Or you can open it up like a book and there's two panels of LEDs inside. Next click lights up 1 panel, third click lights up 2 panels, last click turns it off. It's also got magnets on the back and a built in hook on the end or you can open it up to 90 degrees and just stand it up. I bought a couple for camping and I've been very impressed so far. Not much good past about 25 feet though but for the price, pretty good and they'll fit in your door pockets.
