All the kids caught a nice Atlantic samon each, ranging from 1kg up to just over 1.5kg.

It was well run, as the kids that caught (and kept) a fish early had to wait until all the other kids caught a fish before they could catch any more.
After we had a BBQ, and all the kids got prizes, from fishing rods to tackel boxes, caps, plus lots of Tassie Devil lures and decals.

Of course, the kids found the snow on the golf course and ran around having great fun with lots of snow fights etc.

We ended-up having more snow fights later on down the road as well. Gotta make the most of the last of the snow.

It was superb. Funily enough the organisers were running around trying to work out how they could do the next one better, yet I thought it was the best run and most enjoyable kids fishing day I've been too for a long time. All this for the sum of $5 for yearly membership to the club. I can't praise the organisers enough, especially the secretary Ann-Maree. Zac was raving about it when we got home.

Good to see the kids had fun and the big kids got out and had a drive as well which is always good.

Keeping is a good thing. The kids sure would remeber it that is for sure.

Sorry i had to pull out at the last minute. Certainly looks like you had a great day for it. On the other hand, i got everything that i had to get done sorted, and the 7 year Olds birthday party went off without a hitch, so i am glad i stayed home all the same.

The smiles on the kids faces, made it so good.
You definately made the right call. Glad you guys got everything organised for the party & that it went off without a hitch.

Catching his fish and making some new mates really had Zac happy, although we had to call him and a few others back from the bush a few times - they were roaming far and wide.
