vx lighting too high.
hi dose any one out there know if the issue with the vx hid lighting has been fixed im sick of being flashed at ,people think im on high beam. cheers statey.

i have taken my car to the dealer and they said they adjusted them but they are still too high i have tryed to lower them my self but have run out off adjustment still no joy.!!!Comment

Same problem for me. It only happened after I upgraded the lights and I haven't adjusted the level. I must admit when I'm driving my other vehicle and my wife id following in the Prad - they are bright and have a high nuisance value. Not sure what to do so I'll follow this with interest.Comment

Take it back to your dealer again as by the sounds of it they have not adjusted them, for some reason some dealers do not know how to do it correctly and in the VX Kakadu with OE self leveling cornering headlights they are adjusted via computer - not manually, the dealer needs to plug in and lower. Scifleet in Kedron did mine after a road rage incident from a crazed van driving lady.Originally posted by statey 57 View Post-----------------------

The lady that had a go at me on the story bridge one night was irate, never had a road rage incident like it. Must be a couple of ways as I watched the techs at sic fleet plug in and lower it via the Toyota program, they had a line on the wall and then lowered as they had quite a few people complain.Originally posted by VeeZeeSS View Post-----------------------

just put some good spot lights on to show them your on low beam.
Works for me
2011 VX T/D auto pearl white, 3" exhaust and [COLOR="#FF0000"]CHIP IT [/COLOR]module and Auber EGT gauge. Daul battery fitted cig and engel plug in cargo area and charge wires run for the camper. Dual DVD headrests and Extinx GPS/DVD unit. ScangaugeII.Comment
