Couple of boggings today with drivers not letting the tyre pressure down while trying to exit the beach. Unfortunately for one Forester, the driver cooked the clutch and had to be towed out. Few more just tried to floor it and churning the sand up with their road pressures.

Do the right thing and you'll have a great day out. Tyre pressures is everything. I would get some tyre deflators and a good compressor to start with.

There's things on here that I never even knew existed but are now on my 'must have list'.

I played on the Ashbourne tracks yesterday, and found a couple which were much better than expected and I would like to revisit them when it's boggy.

This was my first opportunity to use Low range and I found the Prado to be very impressive up & down the steep slopes.

Will try and get down there today for a bit of a play. How steep is steep?

How steep? As a newbie it's hard to guage, but they had me grinning and they felt steep to me, I was glad to have Low range for at least one of them.

The tracks that I enjoyed are Lode Rd and Sunnydale (I went clockwise), but I'm sure there will be others around the area I missed because we got hungry and went to nearby Strathalbyn for Lunch.

We did also go to Goolwa but not the beach (got side tracked and started looking at Hindmarsh Island marina properties and fancy boats ....dreaming again)
