  • Brisbane 4x4 show

Who's going to the Brisbane 4x4 show this year? Never been there myself. Is it worth bringing the car or is the train/bus a better option? Parking seems very limited.

    Cheers Jim.

I'm driving down on Friday morning. Times i have been before they had parking in the old show bag pavilion and main arena if you are early enough.

Depends on what goodies you pick up on the day.....not much fun dragging your new recovery gear, show special generator or the latest greatest potato peeler on the train

Will be going Friday morning. Never taken the train but always managed a park somewhere although I believe there is a lot less parking this year.

You can get a discount on your ticket online using the code 4x4earth.

Always one more thing Steve lol. Looking to get a camper trailer though but the missus and I have different opinions.

Yeah, I'm going, never know what you might buy. I tend to park in the school grounds on the st paul's terrace side. If you're early, there';s usually room. It usually says it's meant to be for stall holders but they never check.

haha, once or twice. And doing it this way, she'll think I'm the best and hopefully let me buy more stuff! There's quite a list this year now that I've just picked up the car!

Pick up my new 150 on Saturday morning from Motorama Hillcreast, getting the little sister to drop me and the missus off at the dealer then driving straight the the show to drop a bomb on accessories, so mine will be that brand new silver one in the car park

Apparently they are organising parcel pick up this year which could come in handy, as long as they can make sure no-one nicks your stuff.

Had a good day at the 4wd show. Ordered an ARB Locker, compressor, roof tray and awning for $2700 for the lot including installation.

Was looking for a set of Bridgestone D694 or 697 but they had no representation at the show. Looked at Mickey Thompsons but they wouldnt budge more than $30 per tyre discount for a set of 4. Not even close to 10% so they can keep them.

Lots of other interesting toys there too
