I went yesterday as well. After 30 years of going to the Rosehill show the Brisbane show was a bit disappointing, at about half the size and no free parking. In the market for a camper trailer but might as well stayed at home due to lack of exhibitors in that area but I must say the tinnies were well represented. Didn't buy a thing.

    Cheers Jim.

Yeah we went to look at camper trailers /vans too but nothing got us excited, that was close to budget at least. Spent a lot more time looking around the big tinnies ( boats not beers )

Nearrrrly bought the black Runva 11XP from Wolf 4x4 at the show who put up a pretty good price but their price on the Offset Fairlead killed the deal...they had no stock anyhow so it would of been a few weeks wait for fresh stock so I'll probably buy of Mick when the credit card is not so chockas..

Must have been the only bargains there, I certainly couldn't find any!

Asked the Oztent guys for their best price on an RV3, $969. I can get better than that at nearly every camping store in Brisbane! Bah!!!!

Yep, I got an arb compressor setup and diff breathers (I particularly wanted the arb, and 10% is about as good as it gets), but I've just stumbled upon a store on brissie northside that has had better prices than I can get anywhere else. Wasn't worth buying at the show. I actually don't really think it was even worth attending!

Sadly, I agree. Bought a bit though, ordered seat covers from MSA, GME TX3540S and AE4018BK3 from powerful 4x4. Came home with lightforce genesis halogen lights, ERPS rust protection kit, Redarc BCDC1240 and some new Bluescrew sand pegs. All in all a successful enough day, however would of bought a lot more had there been good specials, however I can get most stuff cheaper on a normal day when I walk into our normal parts suppliers for work. Will say that it was worth going to meet Mark from Lightforce though, great bloke and helped me with my spotlight decision a lot, gave genuine advice and didn't try to sell me the latest, greatest or most expensive, just what would do the job that I required for the best value for money.

What did the 3540s set you back? I was looking at one of those to replace a 3600 - I want a stealthier install

Radio and antenna cost me $519 including shipping because they didn't have the fully black antenna at the show. The radio on its own was $399 on my invoice, not sure if that was because I bought the antenna with it or is the normal price.

Well I went to the current show today and what a difference, totally spoilt for choice. Spent the whole day there and never got around all of it. Very impressed, probably even better than Rosehill. Don't bother if you're after a tinny, none there.
