I don't know what you lot are driving but you have some serious issues that I've never seen or heard of. Are you sure it's a Toyota Prado and not a Ford or something?

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

Symo,
Have you not owned, driven an earlier Prado than the 150 series?
While there have been changes made to enhance the driving and passenger experience, there have equally been changes made that have detracted from same.
Contributors here are attempting to assist the Toyota designers to avoid the mistakes they have apparently made in their move from the 120 to the 150. If you are perfectly happy with the 150 that you have, then we should all be very happy for you.

It already saddens me that my 120 has worse clearance (as standard) than the 95.Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Our 2011 VX D4D has been overserviced with extra fuel filter and engine/transmission oil changes yet at 73000 is booked in next week for a new turbo and injectors. My wife gets car sick so the vehicle is driven very conservatively.
I've set our vehicle up as a long distance tourer and design faults like those listed are a PITA at best and potentially disasterous should an engine failure such as Bushie's occur, especially if you're 'well outback'.
I'm glad you appear to be happy with your vehicle but that doesn't mean there aren't significant design/build issues with the 150 series.

Australia is the smallest RHD market on the work, but we demand the most comprehensive niche models at bargain prices.
Something got to give, the 120 was a softer more advanced version of the larger land cruiser, the new models continue that tradition, but all of a sudden the 120 is an old school vehicle? Shoes on the other foot now. Either move with the times, or get left behind.
Toyota don't care about a few sales of RHD Diesels, they want LHD petrols to make their money.-=2014 GXL D4D Auto Graphite, Firestone Airbags, ARB/Optima D34 Dual Battery, ARB UVP, TJM Airtech Snorkel=-

You got to take a step back occasionally and look at the big picture and ask yourself, if this really true, then how the F*CK to they get away with it, and why are they selling so many to previous owners and miners, businesses and just about every mum and her soccer team? Just does't add up, some where some one has gotten their wires crossed.
My bet its on the corner of the net where only prado owners hangout, not the vast majority of the 4WD buying population which is a huge cross-section of all individuals who all come back and do it all again time and time again.-=2014 GXL D4D Auto Graphite, Firestone Airbags, ARB/Optima D34 Dual Battery, ARB UVP, TJM Airtech Snorkel=-

I hope they don't refer to it as a 180, it sounds wrong, like it's turning around and going home.Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!
