Hi all,
A certain well known Australian company has been running an advertising campaign that implies that all other alternator voltage boosters that are less expensive than the unit they are marketing are dangerous and should not be used, it is disappointing to see an Australian company use these tactics to try and sell their product.
This advertising is deceptive and misleading, all the units that I’m selling have full fuse protection, the MK1 & MK2 units incorporate fusible links, the MK3 uses a PTC device.
The voltage booster unit that they tested does not appear to be marketed in Australia, at least I have not been able to find it if it is?
Also, the question should be asked, was the unit they tested marketed as a purpose built for alternator boosting purposes or was it sold as a general purpose blocking diode?
Cheers
