  • Cabin and Air Filters

OK, did some quick research after Toyota want to charge their "special prices" for filters.

I have sourced these but would like people's feedback and comments and does anyone have a secret supplier?

    1. Air filter http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PRADO-DIE...item3f44ad498f

    2. Cabin Filter http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cabin-Air...item2c9291e7dc

(Not sure about the standard of the cabin filter?)

    Regards

I have bought these and they seem as good a quality item as the Ryco. They fit well. I have an 'o5 GX.

    cheers

youd be better off spending a lil more money and buying a pollen filter rather than a cabin filter.. a cabin filter only filters large dust particals and keeps leaves and whatnot out whereas a pollen filter keeps micro particals, pollen, dust everthing that affects people asthma, hay feaver etc.. if your driving thru red dirt country a pollen filter is the way to go.. also most ryco pollen filters nowadays have a layer of carbon material that halps keep the smallest of dust and dirt and crap in general from entering the cabin. Just my 2 cents mate..

I agree, I did the march down to clark rubber for some a/c filter material and whilst it works just fine I do wonder about the pollen/hayfever protection that I not longer have. That said I recall the toyo price was around $80-$90 which was a shock!

          Cabin and Air Filters

What about the Ryco 4wd service kit? Air, oil, fuel and cabin filters all in one box.

The cabin filter that you would normally get from Toyota and Ryco are of the pollen variety.

Wesfil cabin filters are around $15. They do the job. Try Ozispares or Eziautoparts

Same here, and I am pretty sure mine has been on a LOT more dirty and Dusty roads than MLC's rig.
