Can anyone recommend a canvas swag bag for a king single swag?
I have looked at the Darche ones (my swag, due next week, is a Darche), however they seem pricey for a little bit of canvas with a zip.

    Cheers,

Thanks, I will check them out.
I guess I should also really ask if, in other's experience, a swag bag is required if I plan to put it on the roof? Particularly for Dust/Rain...

I'm getting a loose bag made up for my 30sec Oztent before my Cape trip. This will be made out of the vinyl that you see as covers for camper trailers etc. Purely to keep the red dust and weather clear of the Oztent bag. It will have a Velcro flap at one end and a couple of straps in the middle to tighten it up. Costing me around the $80 mark... (turning the 30sec tent into 40sec!)

x2 I have a Burke & Wills swag bag and always use it when the swag goes on the roof. I also plan to get a similar bag made for my newly acquired Oztent.

I use an ARB Stormproof bag for my swag. It was bought for other purposes but fits the swag perfectly so that's its new use. It keeps all water and dust out on the roof rack. Not sure if it would fit a King Single swag or not, you would need to measure that up.

How about an AOS swag bag. We have one for our Mitchell Double Swag, works a treat, made from waterproof poly canvas. $45.95 from Snowy's in SA.

Even has a bottle opener attached!

I am getting a bag made up for my RV5 made from canvas. Main reason I'm going this way is a bit more breath-ability if the tent gets wet. There'll be a couple of expanding pockets on one side to house the side and front walls and some webbing on the other side to help when strapping on the roof. Full velcro on all openings to stop the dust. Approx. cost is $100.

MR Swag Man made our Swag and Swag bag after 8 years of regular use, regular being a couple of nights every 2 months it is still holding together. It weathered massive storms on the roof rack in melbourne and kept the swag dry. It also handles the dust of the outback (where we live) no problem.

                          Craig,

Can you let me know who is making the bag for you? I'm looking for a Trim shop that does good work.

you could ask the local hospital for a body bag
I have one, fits my double swag and there water and dust proof.
and makes and interesting conversation point when people ask where I got the bag from.
