I need to buy a new swag and was thinking about a Kulkyne King Single as it looks the goods at a good price. Anyone got any feed back on these?? Open to other suggestions as well. Couldnt find a swag thread so if there is please point me in the right direction..

I have a Burke & Wills king single, had it for years now and to be honest it's too big. It's too big for one person and too small for two, just my oppinion. It is comfy in summer though.

How wide is it?? I like the above one as it is wider than a single but not as wide as some.

We had a look at the Kulkyne swag a while ago when we were in Mildura, I was under the impression they were Australian made but alas like most things they are made overseas. Anyway, they seemed like a good thing but I had decided to buy a Burke and Wills Nullarbor King single, as we sold our other swag just the other day this thread prompted me to go and order it, but its not listed on the site I was intending on getting it from, so if not available the Kulkyne would be my next choice.

        Cheers Andrew

The Kulkyne and the Burke and Wills Nullarbor are both a fair bit narrower than that!

I like these but the swag is just for me so prob a bit over in price (I get in enough strife with cash going on the 4wd), the rest of the $$ will be for a Blackwolf turbo. Pity that the Kulkyne is not Aust made as I would rather my dollars stay here!! Guess that why is a good price!

I did have a look at these too, I did like them but after a number of work trips overseas in my old job, with many months on stretchers I struggle now to sleep comfortably on them (the bars down each side)! I think ill have a look at them in person though. I really like that they are off the ground!

                    Cheers

I understand you can adapt/add foam mattresses for them making them more comfy? I have to research 2!
