Has Anyone got/used one of these?
I use the Dust 2 Dawn 1100 on one of their 100 stretchers. That setup works for me (185cm and 120kg). The 5cm mattress on it's own is fine on the stretcher but not on the ground (stiff back), so I swapped it for one of their self inflators (1100). That's all set up under an awning and it's seen me through hail storms! I like the bigger size especially in summer. 2 years old now and no probs with the quality...so far.

Good onya for getting back and letting us (all) know what you purchasing. I always like threads being rounded out in a circle, just the person I am!! Saw Tentworld were doing a good deal. I dunno for the extra bit I'd still go for the cot/bunker. But I am very slight, not insinuating anything!!

Haha, I'm only about 176cm and 75 kegs. I like the bunker and think they are a goos thing but I know I'll regret it, only because of how I sleep on stretchers. Ill check out Tentworld!!

Bit late but I put my post up on the subject. I have had 2 Southern Cross dome swags [1x single and 1x double ] now for about 10 years and also a Southern cross tent for 22 years , all have had regular use and have stood the test of time with no problems , you do pay a premium but that comes with quality.
If I was looking again with value in mind then I would consider the Travellander swags, a mate has one and it looks sturdy.

Whatever one you buy make sure you get out n use it.

Previously a 2004 120s 1KZ GX silver manual with stuff
before that a 1996 RV6 90S with lots of gear

Thanks rags....having a good look a these now. Also saw this ad, looks OK:

Similar concept but a bit cheaper although no awning (not fussed). Don't want to go overboard in price.. seen so many advertised...used once or impulse buy never used etc.

Every picture on their website seems to be of the swags rolled up, which tells you nothing about them, not very clever marketing unless they have something to hide?

                        Cheers Andrew

Yeah i was thinking it was unusual for a $500 swag to only have photos of it rolled up. From the blurb not sure what design swag it/they are.

Good that they are Aussie made but need to do a bit better on their website!

Prado2004, can you tell me what sort of swag the king brown is?

                          Cheers

I am about to bite the bullet on a new swag, for $500 if they were a quality unit in the style we are after I would be in like flyn, but who knows what you are getting for the money.

I cant get the Burke and Wills Swag I was after in a suitable time frame, so the Kulkyne is looking like it might be the winner.

                            Cheers Andrew

The only reason I went for the Darche over the Kulkyne was that the centre pole was extendable, It isnt (from what I can see) on the Kulkyne. I think this will be better once it is set up. Both were pretty close in price!

The pole on the Kulkyne is extendable, at least the one they had on display was. The fact that we have seen one in the flesh is the reason we are leaning that way.

                                Cheers Andrew
