  • Clearview Easy slide (fridge drop slide)

Anyone got one, seen one or used one?
    http://www.clearviewmirrors.com.au/1...EW-EASY-SLIDE/

These look to be the same design that Black Widow was selling before they closed.
They appear to be an improved version of the MSA drop slide. Yes they are expensive but if they work well, possibly worth the cost.

Read that they are 37kg's! Ouch.

From what I understand and I may be wrong is that when Black Widow went belly up the design was sold to Clearview.

The price is very high for a fridge slide IMO though!

I think I'll just get a normal fridge slide, and a small box for the missus to stand on?

Hi, I contacted a distributor and they advised the design was sold by Black Widow to Clearview as part of the adminsirtaion process in the closure of Black Widow. These appear to be the same drop slides that Black Widow wanted $1400 for. I saw one at a show a few years ago and they were awesome. I reckon the MSA one is ok but fidley. Rate 6/10. Black Widow 9/10. Still not cheap at $900, but I reckon a superior product to MSA. Its on my shopping list. Details were from:

I was all for a drop down fridge slide till I bought a folding step from Anaconda for $6 which slips down behind the drawers/rear seats and is perfect to reach intot he fridge with an ordinary slide! Also the weight of these things 37kg!

I found this http://www.engeland.com.au/productcl...itemnid=988242 but on Gumtree, needless to say much cheaper than this.

Once you gave had a drop slide you would never go back to using a step, been there done that and it's a PITA.

If the commercial ones are too pricey or too heavy you can always make your own http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post243242

                Cheers Andrew
