Hi Guys
Been thinking about this for a while now and with some of the contacts I have in the tyre world, thought it was about time we put a case forward for a better deal on tyre supply for our Prados.
I figure that with around 2000 members and I would probably guess that in excess of 95% of these are based in Oz, we should have a good case for some buying power.
I am prepared to make the approaches on behalf of Pradopoint but don't want to do this if the members disagree.
We need to gauge acceptance from members and in doing this it would be a good idea to specify the manufacturers who need to be approached.
Obviously the main contenders will be Mickey Thompson, Cooper, Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone and Dunlop and I can enter discussions with them all to see what can be on offer. I take offence to the fact that both MT and Cooper try and dictate the selling prices of their tyres to the industry.
So what do you think?
