Replace Prado 2014 Touchscreen

Hi folks,

I know there are a lot of post on replacing the Prado 2009-2013 head unit, however I'm looking at replacing the 2014 touch screen on a GXL as it doesn't come with sat nav. Can this be done? I've seen a dig option unit but it looks like for only 2009-2013 prados.

Not sure if the fascia kit is suitable for 2014s but the headunit you have is already a capable unit so please... if replacing it, move forwards in quality... not backwards like an ebay/dig options unit. Look at your mainstream brands.

so the 2014 touch screen can just be ripped out and replaced with any 2din unit?

Not cheap but works well. The other option is of course apps on your phone tablet.

Try Polaris, not cheap but nice unit, can run oziexplorer, does TPMS if you need or want, and after sales service is excellent.
