I bought there 44inch a few weeks back and am not impressed at all.
I had a 22inch on my old roof rack but that would not fit under the new pioneer rack ( mounts all wrong ) so hence i bought the 44in
The 22in i got off ebay from sunyee and it put out a better through than there 44in. Not happy Jan

Always check out how many Lumens they put out before you buy them.
There are alot out there now that only put out about 8 or 9,000 lumens or so.
When I got my illuminator about 3 year ago they said it put out 26,000 lumens.
Have tried to get another for a friend a few months ago and they said they stopped making it.
Images were upright on computer as soon as I upload here it turns it sideways even when I rotate it before uploading
At least you can see the difference if there was a kangaroo sitting on the side of the road waiting to jump out you have a chance of seeing it with a good lightbar.

I have recommended and installed 2 of the 22" Illuminator light bars for friends of mine in the last 3 months.

I have one of 4wd Supa Center early LED Light bar offerings (Brite LED Tech) and its been going strong for over 2 years now.
the only issue with these is the paint finish. it will fade and go orange within 3 months.
I have had mine off and since resprayed it.

so for the 2 recent illuminators I gave them a light sand and spray with black high temp engine enamel prior to install.

Done a heap of reading on this and the only conclusion I repeatedly come to is spend a little more and get a stedi or sunyee

                  I fitted a STEDI 23inch 120w (the cree 10w led bar)
To be honest, it looks great - has a descent light pattern and the 6000k+ light makes it so easy to drive in.

Would say, its awesome, but also do not have anything to compare it against. Was expecting a bit more, but is a functional 120w bar. Not a 40" quad row 400w bar...

But does light up the road very nicely... HaHa.. still hit a skippy, even when driving in daylight

Went in to local ARB store to get some of the Father's Day gear on special. Talking to the salesman about putting on Rhino platform on and mounting an LED light bar on the front of it. Led light bars on the roof are now legal in SA. Anyway, I have the 2012 Altitude and it has fog lights. I have OEM nudge bar to which I've fitted a 20 inch Lightforce combi led light bar. The guy reckons that if I mount a light bar on the platform, then I will have too many lights and would need to disconnect the fog lights. Checked the SA legislation and all it talks about is you are limited to 4 lights but it's not clear if this is pairs or singles (like a light bar).

Anybody up to speed on this? Don't want to disconnect the fog lights. I've seen lots of 4wds around the have 2 spot lights and a light bar mounted. Even on the Lghtforce site, they have pictures with spotties, 2 light bars as well as standard headlights and fog lights.

OEM nudge bar. dual battery set up with Optima D34, rear power points front and rear Anderson plugs. Lightforce LED combi light bar. Kingsley side steps. Outback Ideas recovery points. Dr Air Pro 150 ltr air compressor. ARB 60 ltr fridge. GME 3550s UHF radio. Hema HX1.

Check the wording mate, rules usually specify lamps from memory ie each individual light, foglights =2, pair of spotties = 2, and bam there's 4.

The fog lights are standard in your model of car so don't count. It's only 4 extra lights after it drives off the car lot new. If your model comes std with fog then you start from 0. If you added after market fogs (like in an ARB bar) then they count. I have ARB fogs and a LED light bar so that's 3.
2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.
