Traction control questions.

Hey guys

Just a question because I'm a massive newb. Does the new 2.8 gxl Prado have traction control?
If so how does it work and when does it engage?
Is it any good?
Does it only work in low range?

Yes it applies the brakes to the spinning wheel(s).

Sweet thanks mate does it do it on all forms of driving or only in low 4 or only when centre diff lock is engaged

I have a 2.8 GXL and AMTS & RBJET are spot on.

Have a good read of the offroad manual as the system reacts differently depending on what range you're in. - Better yet take it off road and learn on the tracks!

Gotta say that the current generation traction control systems are very good and better than I expected. I doubt i'll head down the rear locker path this time (though I dont live in the Vic high country either...)
