  • Toyota WS Trans Fluid - Cost per 4L Tin?

    Hi guys,

I have done the ring around for oil prices and Toyota is quoting me $66.50 for the 4L Tin of Toyota WS ATF. Is this the best I am going to do? Total cost for the 120 Auto in oil will be just under $200.

To do the flush using there flush machine they have said $350 all up including oil and labour, though not sure if that covers dropping pan and replacing filter too. I doubt it.

Other option is the Penrite LV ATF which is about $50 for 4L. So $150ish.

    Cheers,

    KS

Just noticed the Penrite LV ATF is on sale at Autobahn for $35 for 4L. It says it meets WS specs and gets some good reviews from here. Looks appealing but I am still pointing towards the genuine fluid.

I paid around $55/4L a while back, spoke to my dealer's spare parts dept and asked for the trade price - surprisingly it worked!
          Cheers
