I pick-up the new GXL in an hours time. Excited is an understatement. Short term plans are as follows:
- KMC Monster 2 17x9’s w/ BFG KO2’s (already on their way)
- Colour coded bullbar (ARB, TJM, Ironman? Just waiting to see them all in person to decide)
- Dual Battery
- RTT (Kings?)
- 30 or 50mm lift (if it still fits in the garage)

orangepeel Hey man a lot of people are interested in your VX price are you able to help by posting more details of it or sending us a PM ? 2018 VX drive away price of $68,500 is crazy just want to know if its possible for the average Joe to get similar.

Just picked up a 18/18 VX for $68500 driveaway. Just the car alone - should be here around March/April after the slow boat ride. Thought to save on the LCT and add the accessories on after I get the vehicle

done 14,000kms now and she went in for her second service at 10,000kms ( did oil and filter at 3,000kms with toyota )
been onto the second beach now and loving it and seriously starting to look at mods hence the above link from ARB !

Yep, all made in Japan. The GX badged ones too. This is one of the reasons I went with a Prado over other options such as the Fortuna, which is made in Thailand.

If you are a looking for a reference, at https://www.whichcar.com.au/car-revi...a-prado-review it says "All Prado models sold in Australia are made in Japan."

Picked up our new 2018 Prado GX yesterday. It's been on order since November last year.

We took it for a spin around the Adelaide Hills and we're loving it. It's a pleasure to drive. Kids love it too. Nice step up from our Suzuki Grand Vitara.

We've kept it pretty basic for now: the only accessories we got were the tow pack and reverse parking sensors. And it's white.

$56.7K on-the-road.

Why did we go for GX over GXL? We only wanted five seats, and we didn't really need or want the other extras.

Now we have to kit it out and get into some big trips.

Hi Guys - I have had mine quoted and am about to place the order for a Silver 2018 Prado GXL with ARB Deluxe Bar, genuine tow bar and other bits and pieces for $62,900 including GST. Cheers!
