So started a bit of a parts list tonight for some upcoming maintenance. Jump onto https://www.amayama.com, log in (it knows I'm in AUS) and put in part numbers onto for it to keep pointing me to AUS at $$$$ prices. Does anyone know if they have started restricting parts to only come from AUS? I miss the UAE pricing!

The ATO has changed the rules so now we have to pay GST on overseas purchases under $1000. It is the vendors responsibility to collect it. -
Yep I’ve had a list that I was going to send in from the UAE, but thanks to GST I’ve missed out now on some really good prices, we need a contact in the UAE we can deal with.Comment

Prices are still better than Toyota service department, a mate of mine needs a new fuel pump for his FJ, Toyota quoted $620 for it (part only) price on amayama $304 AUSComment

I don't think prices have changed too much. Due to the changes in the GST rules, everything is listed from Australia. So you order and all the parts get sent to the Australian warehouse and then sent to you from there.
If you hover over the "ship in days" it will tell you where the part is coming from.Comment

Isnt there some sort of masking program u can install in yr computer to show where you arent
Any tech savy folk in here can provide a link to such a program, this can bypass the location function on yr computer, allegedlyComment

research Virtual Private Network software. Available for Windows and android in my experience. Relatively cheap, easy to install and i think hides you and your location. I first installed it when i was unhappy about the limited selection of movies on Netflix. By connecting to a VPN server in the USA i could get a far larger selection.
There must be more IT savy members here than me who can advise.
