Banned IP addresses.

It's been brought to our attention from facebook posts that some people are having issues accessing PP and apparently have a Banned IP addresses.


Bans on IP addresses are rarely done, in fact only 2 in the past year. both from Overseas IP ranges in the EU. It is not a policy or action of the forum to ban IP addresses unless you are a heavy spammer using many log ins from the same IP.

Whilst a lot of people who were originally banned from the group for valid reasons are still carrying on and post what they think is happening, they are incorrect. Seems a lot still have sour grapes with PP..

We suggest refreshing the page a few times (Shift F5 is a total refresh). this usually brings it back up for you.

Piggy, this forum is becoming unusable, mashing the f5 key repeatedly is not an acceptable method of accessing a web site. Needs to be sorted for people to continue to access and contribute to the site. The only way I can access it these days is to use a VPN. Unless I have actually been banned...

I too am continuously copping the banned ip address, the message provides a link to admin which doesn't work. Sometimes it goes away by the next time I try & sometimes it doesn't. Seems like some sort of virus in the server maybe?

Piggy. This is a real issue. I am having the same issues as the 2 posters above. As far as I know I have done nothing to be banned and haven't been banned. There is a problem in the system somewhere. The F5 thing doesn't work and nor does the link to contact the admin. The issue comes and goes and for me is happening on PC ,tablet as well as the phone even when not on the home wifi.

Aaron and I have had a look and am guessing this may be an issue with Cloudfare.

Some changes have been made to the backend, so lets see how this goes over the next few weeks.
