  • Will I get diff windup?

Hi all, I have a relatively new Prado with AT tyres about half worn. I also have a new (same brand) spare. I'm just wondering if I put the new spare on with a half worn tyre on the other side whether there's a risk of diff windup from the difference in diameter.

And should I put it on the front or rear?

    Cheers
    Peter

Unless you have the differential locked, you won't get windup. An unlocked differential allows the two axle shafts to rotate at different revolutions.
