  • Brake Ware 150 series Prado

I have a 2018 Prado bought 5 month 2019 it's done 32,000km had has had all the brakes pads replaced and the disc rotors machined. We don't tow anything with this vehicle and it's doesn't do any excessive town driving. The ware on the brake pads only increased after the dealer did work on the front brakes after 18,00kms. Is this a problem or is this normal?

Throw away the crap front and rear standard rotors. Go DBA and DBA orange pads. Problem solved. the standard gear wears way too quickly.

32,000km seems very short. I had the rear pads on my 2018 GX replaced at 50,000 km, and I thought that was short. But the front pads are still ok... which is the reverse of what I was expecting.

Had the rear pads on my 2018 GXL replaced at 90,000Kms, the front will last well past 100,000Km.
They had seen many beach runs, desert dunes, and Kimberley river crossings.
