    I need to remove the rear tank to replace the fuel pump has anybody done this as yet I think theres a lot of shit in there needs to be cleaned out.

    If it is a diesel there isn't a fuel pump in there. Have a look the 150 diesel section and look down until you find " fuel pickup problem". Most possible problems are covered there. The rear tank empties first into the front tank. If you run out of fuel with about 250 km to empty and well over a quarter of a tank remaining then you have a problem. The trick is working out which of 4 or 5 issues is the problem. If you don't have the problem don't touch other than to make sure that the between tank filter is hanged every 20000 km without fail.

      well that didnt go to plan took the reserve tank hose off thinking i can get a jiggler hose in nope must have a baffle to stop this.

        Thats interesting. I keep a small diameter hose for that very purpose.
        Anyone else come across this?
