I’ve recently bought a Navlink GPS with 4gb memory off Ebay with the intention of installing Oziexplorer on it, but it looks like I’ll need some help as I don’t think my IT expertise will get me too far on that one.
I created a folder called Oziex in the Nandflash (memory) of the Navlink, downloaded a demo copy of wince core runtime and with a bit of juggling via an SD card managed to copy it into the Oziex folder.
I then opened up the settings in the Navlink and went to nav setup and set the path to OziexplorerCE_arm.exe. Oziexplorer opened up and I was able to get into the various screens but after a couple of minutes it defaulted back to the Settings or program screen. I then directed the path to EziexplorerCE_mips.exe and the same thing happened, defaulting back to the settings screen after a few minutes.
Obviously I’ve done something wrong so I was wondering if one of the IT experts here could be kind enough to either provide a “from the start description” of what I need to do to install and get Ozi running, or tell me what I’ve done wrong so far and what I need to do to get it to work.
Remember to keep it all simple and no IT speak.
