  • Any info you have on the install would be much appreciated Nema, I've been wanting to go with one of these units for some time but would like it to look as close to factory as possible.

only just seen this thread as havent been on here in a while...I did a 95 series install a while back with an AVN model and this post was very useful to me, plus if you have a read through all the pages of these threads you'll pick up hints etc. As nema said its all pretty straight forward, trimming the fascia is a bit fiddly (and you might lose a clip or two taking it off!). Other hardest bit was wiring the reverse camera into the reverse light at the rear and getting the wiring through the gooseneck from the back door but all the info is in these threads somewhere.

There was also a post on another toyota forum (which escapes me at the moment) with pics for a 90/95 series install.
            Good luck!

            • Can someone with an AVN11TP please let me know if the Graphic Equalizer works on theirs? e.g when on the radio hit the equalizer button and all I see is the bars not moving with the output (still image)

I put a Polaris NG7700 into mine after trying for ever to find out infomation on these units. Polaris fits like factory and has sensational support, well worth the extra $ as far as I'm concerned.

Was going to have a look last night but forgot...but from memory the equaliser is either jumping around (based on the sound coming out) or they are zero height. Can't say it was obvious what to do to change the settings but it sounded fine already so havent had a play. Others might have fiddled some more?

                    • Hi All,
I have had a TP09X1 for a few years now and have had a really good run. When you put the lights on, the display dims slightly automatically. I would like to make it dim further with the lights on but have not been able to find a place to do this. I have obviously found the brightness for the unit but would like to only dim when the lights are on. Any ideas?

                            • Guys

As a result of a email I sent to Digoptions last week asking the same question, they asked if I could be a "guinea pig" for the new software update. No doubt will be out soon!!!! (I have no affiliation or received benefit from them)

Better off to install onto a blank sd card and keep the old one as a backup.
