External Antenna

One thing I'm really interested in ..... and some pics would be a great help .....

For those who have fitted an external GPS antenna to the top of the snorkel .........

How have you run the cable up there .... preferrably without drilling any extra holes in the car ??????

I just ran mine through the door jam, not ideal, but it has been there for the last 4 years without any drama. I think the cable is so thin that it dosent realy matter, it dosnt apeir to have done any damage to the cable, the paint work, or the rubber seals so ill probably leave it were it is.

I'm sure you could mate ... but you know how I'm dead set against drilling holes in cars. :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:

If you don't like drilling holes just punch one instead with a hammer and a screw driver... :wink:

Same here, behind the kickpanel, over the door seal, under the little door limiter arm and up. No problems with it, it is visible when the door is open but simple enough.
