Good to see the spare parts fairy could assist you in getting the car mirror back to normal. Quick and simple solution.

Just do not ask, "mirror, mirror on my Prado, who's the best driver of them all....." otherwise you will have to buy another mirror

Thanks Prado Fairy, $56 dollars and all good. I can live with some cosmetic cracks in the plastic. The mechanic did the swap in less than 10 seconds. Now I know how I will never need toi buy a new one again lololol. Surpises me that there is not a black market in the glass. It comes out very quick!

PS I will tell SWMBO (and accepts responsibility for the distraction) that it costs me $106. Need the beer money or life points depending on the applivcable system of "who is at fault" or "see what you cost me".

When I watched the guy replace it I was reminded of the movie "Gone in 60 seconds". 10 seconds and it was out, 10 seconds and the new one was in. It takes me longer to decide if I want fries with my burger!

You can easily pay 10x that much in QLD but you own the plates...depending on style of plate u get.

Well, slight delay on the latest mod, so heading out Sunday morning to get me some ramps for fathers day. Will come home and take off the old Toyo plastic fantastic bashies and then wait for 5PM.

At 5PM the first commercial set of amts anti landmine, kick-ass bash plates will be adorned on the Grande. Have waited a lifetime for these babies and from the pics and comments from Iantz the wait is worthwhile.

Pics will follow. Just gotta kill 23.5 hours

There is a definite science to the install which amts proved can be done by 1 person, providing they have an engineering degree AND a full huggies box.

amts son was using a skateboard to slide under the car like daddy, Kinda cute really, just had to make sure he didn't pinch my 3 inch stainless exhaust.

Might whack these high class Toyota genuine, slightly used moulded plastic and carbon fibre (paper is carbon) bash plates onto eBay unless someone wants to make an offer?
