Apparently some fool backed past a post today in a shopping centre and ripped off his driver's side mirror?
Allegedly the excuse is that he was "distracted" by the love of his life at the time.

Not sure what was going on in the car at the time though...

If you need a hand mate, I can replace it for you...

Lea the name of my beloved distraction admits it was her fault! Still cannot believe it happened. I park in the tightest space between BMW's and pillars and in 4 years have never even touched something with only 15 mm each side at times. Someone should blow up car parks........

Thanks Corigator. There is some damage to the plastic but I am being told by SWMBO to ignore that. Didn't help that my Prado mates supported her. I will just do the glass for now.

I've had to replace a side mirror before, and its a bit of a prick if you don't know what you are doing. Thats why I did the same as MLC and got a mechanic mate to help me out while I drank beers.

I did watch him though in case I need to do it again...

Good to see the spare parts fairy could assist you in getting the car mirror back to normal. Quick and simple solution.

Just do not ask, "mirror, mirror on my Prado, who's the best driver of them all....." otherwise you will have to buy another mirror
