Hi Guys, the plates were $396 as a kit and are supposed to be compatible with Ironman Bullbars, however, required a bit of modification.. No real dramas though, we just had to drill three holes to attach it to the metal plate under the bullbar, and it bolted up neatly. I thinkk it would be easy enough to adapt to any bar. There is a nice big cut out so you can still get to the sump plug. The rear plate covers the transmission and extends just about all the way to the back of the transmission. The plates are made of 3mm steel and seem pretty tough.

Hi Dennis, getting there mate - bar looks great - I also went with an Ironman Commercial Delux and couldn't be happier.
I have been out bush over the weekend and found the Prado 150 a little low on some of the tracks, have you done anything about bash plates underneath?

I have fitted the new Ironman Protection Plates, and have found them to be very good.

Is it just me, or does the Ironman bar look very similar to the ARB bar?

              Nice lookin' rig Adam!

Thanks Mate. Im not game to say or even compare the Ironman product to ARB. Last time I did I was shot down in flames. Lets just say I have found Ironman to be of good quality and great value for money. No complaints, not yet anyway.

Pffft... I wouldn't worry about the neh sayers. As long as you are happy, thats all that matters. And if you ever want to find a person to support an argument against ARB, just ask AJ120!

I've got Ironman suspension and do far it's awesome can't fault it. And like you said VALUE for money. I myself went with the TJM bar for looks as I thought the ARB one stuck out too far. All in all of the product suits your needs then it is a good purchase.

                      Latest Mod, Drifta Drawers

Had my Drifta Drawers fitted today, and I am stoked. They fit great, they are lightweight, the finish is excellent, and they are rattle free. Had Outback Drawers previously and they were good, but very heavy, and a lot more expensive.
These Drifta Drawers came with the option to customise however I wanted. They have had a slide out table added, as well as an in drawer mini sliding shelf(we will put cutlery in it when travelling). This weekend I will fit the fridge slide and I also purchased a piece of polished chequer plate angle for the leading edge of the drawers.
The people at Drifta, Luke, Julie and Mark are very helpful and full of tips and info. Nothing was too much trouble, they made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. If you are in Gloucester, call in and have a look at the factory, these guys make some great stuff!

They look great Adam. I notice yours have the side wings covered. Is that a continuous piece of ply cut to shape or are they like hinged lids so you still have access to the space beside the drawers?

                        Cheers,
                        LFaR.

Hi Mate, they just lift in and out. I will have to modify them a bit though. The one on the passenger side covers the two 12V points I have. Ill just drill a hole I think. They are held in place by a bracket, so they are pretty snug.

Drifta Drawers, Waeco CF50 and Slide

Just finished off the new Drifta Drawers with a piece of Polished checkerplate on the external corner, and fitted the Waeco and Fridge Slide. Now just thinking if its worth the extra bucks to buy a drop slide, because at 5 foot 10, Im struggling to reach inside the fridge let alone see whats in it.

You might need a step ladder.
