Thanks Mitch - you see, you go away for a few days and the whole world comes to a stop

      • No real updates for MUMSRIG, however I have been doing a bit on the camper to get it all ready for the trip...

Finally got around to wiring the battery up. Installed a 70AMP circuit breaker on top of the battery box and wired up an Anderson Plug to go to MUMSRIG. I will wire MUMSRIG up tomorrow so we can charge the third battery whilst driving. There is 10mm conduit running over those cables now also..

Also wired up a couple of cig lighter sockets so that we can run LED strip lights etc off the back of the camper and over the tailgate kitchen etc. Rays Outdoors are carrying these now and they are equivalent to the prices i've seen on eBay.

Picked up a new Willow 20ltr Diesel jerry can yesterday also, on special for $24 I think it was at SuperCheap Auto...

        • Also finally ran the water hose to the tailgate kitchen and plumbed in a nice new tap that I picked up from CAMEC yesterday. I had already wired in the Positive Displacement Pump in preperation of the kitchen install... Works a treat to!! Much more pressure than I was expecting!

Gave the new camper top a dry run the other day... Can't believe how much better the quality is compared to the old top... And having the top hinged as we now do makes it soo much easier to access the gear in the trailer, even when the camper is up.

The top stands up by itself unlike the old one, even with it sloping up hill a bit in the front yard

          • Tam's pretty happy with her new King sized bed..

Haven't attempted to fit the awning up as yet, just left it overlapping the roof of the main section. We will set it up correctly when we get over East and stay in one spot for a few days.

Shame it didn't pack but up all nice and neat like this!!

                    • Getting plenty of charge at idle once the RED ARC cuts in...

Rebuilt the Generator today... My dad gave me his 2KVA Sinewave Geny which had broken... A few little repairs here and there and it's working sweet!! Nice score!

Empty the water tanks unless you are travelling remote! Just a waste of fuel.

.... and therein lies the problem Captain Feathersword. If you lift a camper trailer, then you need a whole lot of spacer for the floor ofthe fold out tent.
