Yeah guys, the DVD is included in this months edition not with the magazine feature. Get clip on the DVD Mitch. Well... MUMSRIG has been parked up for the last month or so as the last chip failed and it's a gutless wonder without it...
Anyways, I thought it was about time to remove the inlet manifold and give it another clean so I did... along with the Exhaust manifold and turbo
The turbo will be getting sent off to be rebuilt and Hi Flowed and I will also send the Injectors away for servicing again and am seriously considering removing the head and sending it away for a check over and service...

While the inlet manifold exhaust manifold, and dump pipe is out I would recommend getting them HPC coated. I used that stuff on my cruiser and its dam good.
Pretty sure Graeme (the guy who maked the Gturbo's in Perth) does an exchange on modified turbos fot the hilux and prado.

Mitch did you clean the inlet tract completely before fitting the catch can? How much yuck are you getting out of that? Maybe drop the rocker cover off and have a look inside there. I reckon it would drive much better without the rags in the turbo...

ha i feel your pain, i did all of this a few months ago but i also replaced the injector pump that had lost pumping pressure
2005 Black gxl 1kz, Steinbauer chip, ome lift, arb delux bar, Lightforce genisis 210's, 30inch led light, tigerz roof rack, GME 3540 uhf, genuine towbar, custom spare wheel spacer, ors draws, drop slide, waeco, dual batteries, twin locked, st maxx tyres, winch.
Soon to come-35's and longer shocks.

Genuine Toyota 2300, diesel care in Tamworth 2199 reconditioned. It went really well after I did that, but I think my heads stuffed too now.
