            Isn't it funny how things change...
            When i was looking around trying to convince the wife we needed to buy a prado, i was all about the sovereign bar as it complemented the cars lines nicely and could take a winch...

            Then i see this SOB with an ARB bar and my mind was changed in an instant. :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol:

                Well I have finally picked up our new baby and here are some of the shots I snapped of her today on the way up from Pt Augusta, most of them were taken at Lake Hart except for the first one which was taken just south of Pimba.

                The rest that follow were taken at Lake Hart between Pimba and Glendambo.

                  Looks good. First pic is Island Lagoon. Been there many a time, Nurrungar spy base is just over the hill to the right about 5 kms. :wink:

                    You are correct, I just did not bother going into detail about where it was. The base no longer exists, it was decommisioned a few years back now. They sold off a lot of the stuff at an onsite auction, some guy bought one of the Ray Domes and is using it as a house in lower SA or WA.

                          No, it bucketed down between Pt Wakefield and Pt Augusta and then again when I hit the NT border all the way to Alice and it is still raining today.

                          Luckily I just missed the storm that caused all the flash flooding in Pt Augusta but I did have to drive through what water was left crossing the road, they also had hail with it.

                              It sure was, I don't know what it is about leather seats but they have a sleepy affect on me. I noticed this when we bought our leather lounge suite for the home theatre, as soon as we lay back in them we nod off to sleep. I found the same thing happening to me on the way up which is not a good thing when you are driving. I had to stop more than normal just to take a walk and wake myself up. I also had had very little sleep in the two days prior to going down to Adelaide due to working night shift and having to work during the day when I should have been sleeping.

                              Anyway it is all over now until this coming weekend and then it is off to Newcastle. I love long distance driving, I think I should have been a truckie. :lol:
