If you don't mind me asking, how much did the TPMS system set you back?

I like your on-board compressor setup, very handy. Did you need the 2nd battery for that or was that done for things like powering a fridge?

$299 at Tyres&More in Murrumbeena. Rang a few places one day last week while I was in Melbourne, no-one had them in stock but these guys said they'd get them same day. Rang me back less than 2 hours later saying "they're here".

Compressor is wired to main battery through ignition. 2nd battery is for fridge, inverter and accessory outlets in rear.

OK, then I'm guessing you're using a heavy duty battery for the main? I note you have a winch and assume you've got that wired to the main as well.

BTW, check out the trip thread from Saturday; some new photos of the GX in action have been posted by moi.

Yes the winch is wired to the main battery but it's still the original one. I will probably bump it up to a heavier duty one day but couldn't justify replacing a brand new battery.

Nice set-up. How do you find the BW drawers? Looking at a similar twin drawer myself.

                Great build Ursos,

The monitor looks nice and clear. Are you still happy with how it performs? There is a lot of negativity out there about them. I have been trying to find relatively recent threads with people who have them on their 150s... which there aren't to many.

Does it use the factory wind-shield mount?

Nice setup here mate! Just had a read of the whole thread. I am pretty keen on this blackwidow water tank. Seems like a great idea. It'd be nice to plumb through a tap to the outside of the draw wing if it fits?

Also very interested in one of these myself, if it fits!

Tried browsing the net for dimensions but came up blank.

Ian, could you possibly measure the tank for me?
Or does anyone know (or can find) the dimensions?\

                    Cheers,Dan

I think I've decided on one now, I reckon they're a great package. I'll post details when it's all done in my build thread. Need the drifta drawers first!

                        FYI...

Just spoke to a guy at Black Widow to get dimensions for this water tank. It is 525H x 500W x 310D.

BUT.... they have stopped making them recently.
He said there should still be a few floating around TJM stores but don't delay if you want one.

Unfortunately its a bit to wide for the space I have.

Hey Ursos, seen your rig cruising down the Princes freeway a few times, looks the goods! If you see another white GX between Werribee and Geelong(Moolap) that would be me heading to work in Geelong....

                          Cheers Brad.
