New turbo fitted. Seems to be going great so far, noticed a slight drop in boost pressure peak but still same if not better performance. Unsure, but time will tell the story. Got the windows reprogrammed to open and close off the door key, nice feature.

I received my Windbooster module this afternoon in the mail. Fitting the unit was very easy and only took me about five minutes. I removed my floor mat for access, removed the harness plug off the top of my throttle pedal assembly, pushed the Windbooster module down onto the throttle pedal receptical until it clicked into place, then did the same thing with the Toyota throttle pedal harness straight into the top of the Windbooster module.
I have fitted the control unit like this ATM :
My car has a Steinbauer module fitted. My SB is hooked directly into my throttle pedal, so as you would imagine the Windbooster plus the Steinbauer equal a lot of fun. My SB is fine trimmed on level three (that's the basic setting most installers set them at during install) and I have tried a few different settings this afternoon on the Windbooster control. As my truck is manual, I find the Windbooster responds great on P1 and set at 100%. I have it a run on P2 set at 60% and found it was very, very responsive indeed. I am planning to trial P1 for a while and report back. Basically the unit eliminates electronic throttle lag on a Prado.
Again a big thanks to Glenn at 4WD Supplies in SA for selling me a great product. Please check back for more updates on my set up in the coming weeks.

Copy that. Just about to put mine back on after DP chip and red back exhaust install.
Just sorted out a pair of Monster Rides progressive bumpstops from Matt at Monster Rides. Over at newhilux.net the lads are mighty impressed with increase in control at full compression when the front end bottoms out, off road. For the money, I'm keen to swap out the stock stops for these and try them out.
Yeah it seems to be a good thing in my manual diesel prado D4D. The wife just made comment, of 'what's that thing on the dash ?' And I told her not to touch it or she'd be walking home .
Around town I'm noticing better boost in first gear, combined with much quicker spool up to full boost in the lower gears. Combined with my Steinbauer module it's a really good thing. I would strongly recommend a Windbooster to anyone using a Steinbauer module as the SB works directly of the throttle input and the Windbooster amplifies this signal. The ECM is working the turbo up to full boost much earlier than without the Windbooster turned on.
As for fuel burn, the jury is out as I haven't refilled it yet and when I have driven it, it's been reasonably spirited. The real test is a month with the handbrake doing the school runs and shopping etc. I will see how is goes and report more soon.

Matt,
What are the bump stops worth, be keen to see what you think as my lift goes in this weekend and it might be the next mod. There web site leaves a bit to be desired, not much info and no pricing at all.
