Been a while since I have added to my build.
        Since last time I have fitted;
2x Lightforce XGT 240, 50w HID converted with internal ballast.
        ARB 2.5m awning.
        GME AE4703 Aerial
        Safari snorkel.
        Cooper S/T 265/70/17.
And swapped WA plates for QLD.

I then replaced sad looking suspension with a Ironman constant load lift.

(Sorry about pic quality, I only had phone camera)

I have also built a set of drawers for storing the gear. Mostly 12mm Ply, 100kg slides for fridge and bottom drawer and 35kg slide for top drawer. I also included a 50L Boab water tank at the front.

I am prety happy with the end result, It made it throught the Simpson Desert trip with no problems. Couple of plastic boxes holding food etc can not say the same

Great to see a 120. Too many 150 in this section these days.
Are you happy with the Ironman suspension?

Thanks you, I am happy with the Ironman springs and shocks, Definitly better ride quality and better handling than what I had standard. I have had them for almost a year now without a problem. For the price I cant complain.

For the rear drawers I added a LED light strip to the door and wired back to interior light so comes on whenever I open the door. Value for money one of the best things I have done. (About $15 from BCF) Dont have a probem seeing in the drawers or fridge at all now.

I replaced the factory head unit with a new one from Elinz Eletronics. Pretty much plug and play, just had to join a reverse and a hand brake signal as well as run Aerial and reverse camera wires. Fitted in dash nice and snug but only 2 holes lined up enough that I was happy with so I drilled a few more in mounting plates to suit holes in the head unit (plenty to choose from).

                  GPS

                  Reverse Camera

                  And even digital TV

Also includes bluetooth music, Ipod cable, Handsfree calling, DVD player etc

It comes with Polnav maps, which seems to be pretty good. Ocasionally it shows roads that dont exist, or used to exist, but my Navman does this aswell. Only once it has tried to take me on a route where a road was no longer there. It also shows co-ordanates and altitude which is a cool feature. It does say somewhere that your own maps can be loaded on to it but so far I am happy how it is.
The unit itself is easy to use, the instructions are fairly limited but as I work out more its becoming even easier. From what I understand occasionally any of the chinese inports can have a bad 1 or 2 but most people are happy and it does all that they want it to. I did however buy on ebay from a AU seller incase of any problems it is always easier to contact and deal with but so far I havent had a need to. The only downside I have is the volume buttom being so close to the surround I had trouble with my fat fingers to start with but dont notice it now. With all that said I am happy with the unit.

The one I brought had a built in tv tuner but other then that looks like the same unit.

Yeh thanks for the info.. They look good and cost isn't bad.

Do you think the rear view camera is ok?

                          Cheers brad

I didnt use the camera that came with it, I brought one off ebay to replace a number plate light. Only because its a little more hidden and factory looking. Most of the time I still use mirrors but find it good when real close to things or coupling trailers. Being off center is not ideal but limited to places to mount in the center. As you would have seen in my pic I can still see tow ball and a long way back. Something is better than nothing I guess.
I am pretty sure this is the one I used.

The headlights I have changed to 35W hi/lo HID, These along with my spotlights made the other lights look realy yellow so changed the park lights, bullbar marker lights and fog lights to LED. This is how they look now.

I have fitted a Redarc EB Model, electric brake controller the same time I ran the wiring for my drawers/sockets in the rear. I put the controller just in front of my left knee, seems like a common place for it.
On my drawers I have put a dual socket at the back that is accessable from the back door and also put a dual Engel/12v socket on the front of the drawers. I have then ran it all to a single engle socket just beside 2nd row seats. This way if/when I remove the drawers I can just unplug it rather than cutting wires. From the Engel socket I ran 6mm twin to the second battery. I run a 4mm twin to the 12v socket in the center console (in front of gear stick) from second battery as well so can still charge phones etc without key turned on.

And also screwed a small fire extinguisher in front of the drawers aswell.
