Finally swapped over the fan resistor today. Until now the fan was either running flat out or off. Thanks to AMTS for sourcing a good price for me. The right shows the old resistor and the broken solder join. You can see the 2 pieces that were joined inside the circle. The left shows a nice shiny new one. Click image for larger version

I installed my interior LED's today. Very happy with the result as they are a nice white light.

The online store I used is 'LED LAD'. I probably paid a bit more but everything came packaged together and the after sales support has been excellent. Because AusPost returned my package to him for whatever reason, he resent it with 2 extra LED's for my 'vanity' lights (don't think I have those). Today he sent a 3rd email asking if everything was OK. I would recommend this seller to anyone.

I wasn't going to get any more but when I just told the missus about the UFO look, she admitted that she wants the other side window screen. Now to get her to pay for it because it's something she wants. Ha haaaa

We got to check out Gramps Solar Screen today at the Moonta GTG.
Very good finish and fit. Quality Aussie made product, even came with a spare suction mount and Denier stowage bag.
Think you need the other two screens Dan to complete the UFO look.
    Cheers
    Troy

When I got my tinting done I was told not to put suction cups on it.

So when we drove to Sydney and there's nothing to see out the window and the movies are on, to darken the cabin I cut a layer of foam and put it between the window and window sox.

Perhaps some bungee/shock cord and foam might work for the cargo area?

So what do you think of the new screen? Are you going to get the rest for the cargo area? Are the suction caps good?
Can you let SWMBO know I need a set B4 the Kimberly trip.

Well, the Solar Screen arrived yesterday.
I ordered just the passenger side, cargo screen at a cost of $30 plus $20 for postage. Ordered it on Monday and it turned up yesterday. A quick fit up this afternoon and it looks pretty good, covers the whole window beautifully.

Here's the link to the guys I purchased it from : http://www.solarscreen.com.au/
I think from memory they said $295 for the set of 3 for the cargo area.

Not long at all. They said that there wasn't any in stock and it could take 15 days. I think within a week I had them installed.

Edit: just bought a set, one if my fronts is blown anyway so I'll put the reverse ones I have now in the Parker's... Just out of interest how long did it take or you to get them?

    Dueler120,
Thank's for the tip. Sometimes the correct solution is the simplest

    Jhiace,
They are the same bulbs either side. It must be the photo that makes them look different

Nice upgrades mate! I second the Solar Screens as a good addition to keeping the cargo area cooler for the fridge/ food storage, will need to sort a reverse camera out though. Upgrading to LED's would have to be one of the cheapest mods and make a huge difference to seeing out the back at night and inside the cabin too.

Tip on your camera not rotating pics. Save the pics to your computer and open them in Windows Photo Gallery where you can rotate them. Simply open each one, rotate and exit and it will save the pic in its new position.

I too am keen to see where you got them... But are they the same exact colour, in the sideways picture one looks a lot bluer then the other?

    Troy,
The globes are much better now, not bad for a $9 investment. I stil reckon I'd like to hard wire a couple oh smal led's to come on with these new globes. Just to add a bit more light directed down to the road surface.

Nothing happening with the blinds yet. The wife has me planning to demolish half the house a build a new kitchen. I promised her it wouldn't take me as long as AJ120.
