Jeffers - 2012 Prado 150 VX

Well I'm off to TJM Brendale tomorrow to get my 2" lift, so I thought I'd take a few measurements pre lift.

FRONT
Drivers Side - 750mm
Passenger Side - 762mm

REAR
Drivers Side - 780mm
Passenger Side - 792mm

I always thought it looked a little loped sided. So it leans 12mm to the drivers side. Must be a KDSS thing.

I'll take some measurements tomorrow afternoon to see if it levels up at all.

Sure is Jeff, mine also had the 12mm lean pre lift. It's what earned its previous nickname by my mates of iLean, now they call it Prada... All leather handbag - damn Pajero drivers!

Hutch- 2012 Prado 150, some TJM Kit.

I just got home from work and took a quick photo.

I'll take some more pics tomorrow and get some measurements to compare. Apparently the lean has been reduced to just 5mm on the drivers side which I'm happy with.

Is the VX nice and level now? Assume that TJM also run the different length springs for the KDSS.

Actually mj, the Bilsteins have an adjustable circlip and it is sitting in the middle position now, so it could actually be lifted a little higher but I think it would make it too high on the drivers side!

I think the springs are all the same length from left to right.

Just had one of Brains TG150 Transfer Case Guards fitted up by the man himself... Hows that for service?

This thing shits all over the ARB Transfer Case Guard I have. I highly recommend it to any Prado owner.

OK guys, after driving around for a few 100k's, I thought I'd measure up the lift and see how she's sitting...

FRONT
Drivers Side - 802mm (+52mm)
Passenger Side - 807mm (+45mm)
REAR
Drivers Side - 843mm (+63mm)
Passenger Side - 847mm (+55mm)

This means she is sitting pretty level now with only about 4-5mm lean on the drivers side.

I am VERY Happy with the results!

I gave the girl a wash this arvo and took her down for a photo shoot as a bit of a progression exercise...

I'm really happy with the way its looking at the moment!

Ummm, yes mate they are Grandtreks AT22's

Just waiting to wear them down a bit more, then there will be new rubber all round. Surprisingly the Grandtreks are going alright so far!!
