thanks for your replies jamieprado and Steve M, there is still abit to do that will be on the build thread soon, eg: 3" exhaust, finally the UHF but in a position that I haven't seen on this site put before, and rock sliders for starters.

hey mate, how do you find the pro comps onroad/noise and off road?

Pro comps on the road are not too noisy, alot quieter then some other muddies mates have on their rigs but that could be the sealing properties of the Prado cabin, offroad I am happy with how they are going, been over some rough rocks etc and there is no chips or cuts in the rubber. Had them down to 16PSI and I could go heaps lower than that.

finally got the UHF fitted but couldn't put it where I wanted, but like where it is now and the set up with the hand piece. Photo's up later.
A mate in Brisbane had a look at the steath sliders from Superior Engineering for me and said they look strong and good so that will be my next mod to the beast.

finally can post a large image, the high beam HID lights I installed last time I was home, excellent light output compared to the original.

Where abouts did you install the ballast for the HIDs?

The ballasts for the HIDs are clipped onto the back of the globe, there is just enough room for that to happen, so there is no need to mount them elsewhere. One of the reasons i bought these.

Saw the Superior sliders on their rig yesterday in the shopping centre carpark. They look really good.

Hi Meatman,
I'm happy with the runva winch, bigger motor than others that size and a closer gear ratio makes it extremely quick on rewind, I certainly recommend them. At Cape York early last year it outperformed the other makes in our group with speed by a long way.

Hi Outback,
I don't remember the exact price but it was a little pricey, these racks can be made to what ever length you want, mine was made to the size you see here. Go to Opposite Lock near you and talk to the boys about what you want, and remember that you will pay abit more for quality.
