The cordless winch contoller works, so i'll look around for the stainless plug and socket to set up the corded controller and mount under the bonnet like you suggested Steve.

      where's the pics?

full flex up in a wash out?

i know there's no shortage of washouts and big holes out that way.

The pics are in my new camera and its wont open up the file on the laptop, it says to download a program to open them up, having trouble doing this, have the shits now. Didn't get a flex shot though, it will look better with your 33" on it for that. Should have taken my old camera

I've ordered a provent catch can off Mr Chitit and waiting to see how Brain's went with the throttle controller, go see Steve at Oppy Lock tomorrow to order in some more goodies to fit, eg. snorkel, rock sliders. Worked out what i did wrong with my new camera so now can get some pics up on here.

tested Steve's 285/70x17 with 0 offset rim on yesterday and spent the afternoon staring at it. A black rim looks really good, i'm sold on getting black rims, now need to find ones for it with a 6 or 12 offset. The only clearance issue Steve and myself could see was with the wheel turned hard was the tyre rubbed on the mudflap, maybe with the tyre tucked in more with the above offsets, it may not be as pronounced. Thanks Steve for posting the above pics

Thanks John, that is exactly what i'm after, the suspension lift is done and it looks like 4" at the front and once draws etc go in it will be about 3 1/2" at the back, that will level the rig out nicely.
                    cheers Derek

here are some pics i took this morning before taking Steve's wheel off. The black rim looks so much better, and the larger tyre fills in the wheel arches just right.

showing it rubbing on the mudflap at full lock

showing plenty of room between the upper control arm and the tyre

the tyre sticks out about 15mm

Get the Safari snorkel and maybe a Narva light bar in 3 weeks time, hopefully get rock sliders once they get made and colour code them.
