I'm not familiar with the KDSS system, but i would imagine they would be OK given it is just a bump stop fido666.

The scangauge is now done with correct units and programmed to give me trans temp, i'll be interested at what that gets up too when wheeling around. Just finished fitting led lights to the doors and front overhead, they are a bright blue colour and even though its blue ,still give more light then the globes. the middle and rear roof lights will be bright white leds, just need to work out how to remove the lens to get to the globes.
I'm enjoying the winds booster, lots of fun around town.

Do you have a list of globe types that you purchased to do the change over? I am thinking the same thing, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone has already pulled them out and got numbers/types.Originally posted by derek11 View PostThe scangauge is now done with correct units and programmed to give me trans temp, i'll be interested at what that gets up too when wheeling around. Hi rwo, i got the led lights off ebay quite some time ago, cant remember whom but it listed them as suit 150 Prado, having changed most of them i know what to look for but dont know the part number or style number, if you pop the lens off and have a look at the globes you should be right to get the right ones, sorry not much help, but found these in a few guitar parts i bought early last year and forgot about.Originally posted by rwo View PostDo you have a list of globe types that you purchased to do the change over? Was always interested about the difference between normal charge rate and the charge rate with the voltage booster, well the charge rate without the booster is 13.4 volts, removed the alt fuse and put in the fuse with diode and its 14.2 volts, very happy with that.

Some info to change out the interior globes with led ones,
To remove the drivers/passenger map lights lens pry with a small thin screwdriver at the front of the lens (where the lens hinge is ),
The door footwell lens pry on one side (the side closest to the back of the door ),
For the 2 roof lens in the middle and rear there are 2 small slots on one egde of the lens, stick the screwdriver in the slot and gently lever down and then do the same on the other slot, the lens will pop off.
Before putting the lens back on try your led lights because being a diode, power can only go through them one way so its a 50/50 thing to put them in the right way around.
The end result is brighter interior lights then the very yellow dull factory ones. Hope this helps anybody doing this.
