Got around to removing the blue gunk off the new spare tyre today. It really just took a good blast with the hose but I gave it a good scrub with detergent for good measure. Won't post a photo, the lettering is now just white instead of blue. I'm told if you leave it it goes hard and is difficult to remove plus can take some of the white off with it.

Finally got around to some very important mods today, the Kaka was clean enough to do them for a change.
Had a devil of a time with the PP decal, had to peel every letter off the backing with tweezers as it just didn't want to seperate with a simple peel back action. Takes a while as you have to be careful and once you get the transfer tape onto the glass it's not really possible to move it. Watched a few YouTube vids before I started but they made it look easy LOL.

Picked up an AutoSafe cargo barrier today courtesy of forum member Smakb and he was even so kind as to fit it up for us :-
It's not fixed down at the bottom edge yet as the factory brackets require drilling through the wheel arch. We'll be putting in a false floor and will make up some brackets to fix to that instead.

The KLC is a group of like-minded individuals who got together on PradoPoint through a common interest in Prados and lattes for a bit of fun and camaraderie. Sadly some of the members are no longer on this forum but we still get together elsewhere and have a great time. It started out with Kakadu owners hence the name but we didn't discriminate against non-Kakadu owners of Prados.

Hey Fido,
are you removing the 3rd row of seats for the false floor? If so, any chance that you have the sketch/drawing of the false floor?
cheers
