Took it for some plays in Tassie’s Central Highlands and the snow

before tackling some of the easier tracks in the Off Road Tasmania Guide book (this just about lives in the Prado now - except when I want to do some planning for different tracks to try).


This was when my wife decided we needed to do a little bit of work to it so she would feel more comfortable.

Our 2008 GX D4D as we got her in June or July last year. Fitted with option pack 2. The wife was adamant that she wanted a petrol, but after test driving this one she just said we’re getting it.



It came with Cooper AT3’s fitted (Grandtrek still on spare), reversing camera, towbar, wiring for driving lights & dual battery fittings (no battery or lights) plus that front bar thing (which I quickly made clear that I wanted to get rid of).
