It's a Ridge Rider (Supercheap) winch - it's got the squared off nuts too, so I will take one with me.

Which winch did you fit? I had the same problem with my Tigerz11 and bolts, just went down to Bunnings and bought some longer ones. Just take the winch nuts with you to make sure you get ones with the correct pitch; I had to do this as the Tigerz11 uses a squared off rather than a standard hexagonal nut.

Fitted the winch into the bar today, then had to remove it as I hadn't rotated the selector and it was almost impossible to reach, plus the bolts supplied were too short so had to fit without washers. At least I know what I need to do before fitting it properly.

At least I had a friend to console me...

While some things may have to wait, I did manage to pick-up some protection for my old IPF800's while I was waiting to get our prado back from a service.

OK, we've got this waterproof baby for when we go to the beach - or when we want something that will be waterproof / dustproof while we are traveling.

There were a few places around with damage, but not too bad back then - got to admit I like having to use 4WD to get to my sites, especially when I need to drop to low.

Had -planned to go see the storm chasers at Marawah tommorrow, but not to sure now.
