Good job Craig! I need to do this to the Kaka and wire up my Kaymar work light too. I have a feed on the passenger side in the jack bay, just need to figure out the cable routing logistics.

I managed to take the rear door trims off without breaking any clips (phew...)
The LED light fits up to a couple of clips that are mounted first. It comes with self tappers but I chose to use som m3 Bolts & Nuts with a dab of lock tight to ensure they don't rattle loose.
Very impressive amount of light from this unit. With a nice touch button to turn on/off

I got mine from Opposite lock at Springwood for $50 but considering they took 6 months to get it in with me chasing them every couple of weeks, I can't really recommend them again. The mob that make them sell them direct from their website now anyway. 4x4equip:

Independently switched so you can have yellow, white or both and 3 metres of cable to a cigarette lighter plug. I've got it hard wired in now though. Light output is pretty good. You're not going to get a tan off it or anything but the white is plenty bright enough and the the orange is a bit subdued but still plenty to do the cooking and washing up by. Works well too. Used it a few times where there were bugs and flick over to the orange and very few get anywhere near it. Doesn't show it in the pics but there's caps on each end with screw holes to screw it to something and as it's flexible, there's a clip to stop the centre from sagging. There's also one at twice the length if you're worried about not getting enough light but I wasn't planning brain surgery under it or anything so I went with the smaller one and I'm very happy with it. When the wife comes back from holidaying at the snow without me, I'll take some pics and add to my build thread.

Finally got the Sahara bar adjusted today. Something I have been meaning to do for ages and with the Cape trip only a week away I thought I should get it done before I head off. I took it down to Opposite Lock Springwood who did a great job. The Bar only had a 10mm gap which resulted in tell tale signs of the bar rubbing against the guard in rough terrain.
Before (Gap barely 10mm)
Much better now with the bar dropped down to a more sensible 19mm (Used rolls of electrical tape as spacers while setting the bar gap)
To ensure this bar would never move, new dowling Pin Bolts were drilled and fitted and the original hole was redrilled out and bolted again. All new HT Nuts, bolts and washers were used, including the M10 Cage bolts.
There's no way this is ever going to move...

Whilst getting having the Bullbar adjusted, in my inf init wisdom I requested some nutserts be put into the Bullbar to make fitting up the side wings easier as if you've ever had to remove them it's a pain in the ar$e. The side wings or plates were sitting at home as I had. already removed them to make it easier for the guys to lower the bar. The penny didnt drop until I got home to re-fit them.
Spot the issue?
Drilling out the Nutserts as the plates actually sit on the inside lip of the bar (DOH!!!)
And all fitted up again...

Need the nutserts put into the plate Craig! Kinda funny as I too have done the same thing on an ARB bar on a Hilux, then proceeded to drill them out and put them in the plates.... (You need the deeper reach ones and a washer on each in the plates because of the slotted hole, but it can be done)[LEFT]Silver 150 Facelift

Just wondering if your happy with the TJM Bash plates. How far do they go back? And does the front plate mount at the bottom of the radiator like AMTS platesLast edited by J Janke; 21-12-2015, 07:36 PM.
