Best mod, to date, and easiest - diode "up grade" went from 13.85V at main battery to 14.35V (at time of testing)!

You should be pretty happy with that. Have a look at where I mounted mine, for a different idea. I copied Smithy - 120 D4D's idea and mounted above air vent on driver's side. Cable, just tucked into the body trim for a pretty simple and neat install.\

The door table, trimmed with Tassie Black Heart Sassafras. Sanded down from 100 Grit to 800 grit, oiled and burnished. Now ready for marine varnish.
