I noticed on my trip that the outer rails of the Pioneer Platform had lifted a couple of the rivets. I went to Roof Rack City in Rydelmare and voiced my concerns. They handed me the bits needed to strengthen the outer track. They offered to do the work, however they were busy so I opted to do it at home. It's significantly stronger now.

I noticed earlier you mentioned you intended to go for 285/70/17, did you stick to 265 due to the bigger tyre not fitting. I am researching wheels/tyres and suspension and am thinking a wheel with around +14 offset with 285/70/17 and replacement UCA should fit nicely would your experience back this up?

Where did you get your wheels from and roughly what were they worth?

Ended up not going 285/70/R17, they literally give you an extra 12mm under the diff at full inflation over 265's. Not worth it, and the Kaymar won't allow for twin 285's. Depending on the brand of tyre (some are wider than others) you shouldn't have any issues.

They don't work for me at work. The host site is blocked by our protocols. They work fine on my phone or home pc.

Tin's Transfer case guard arrived...




Got some rope shackles, one is an eBay job and the other is a Roadsafe product.


Went to Wheeny Creek with the NSW Prado 150 guys, gave the new Dobinsons MRR 3" Kit a run.








And then to Mount Walker! Had the snatch strap hooked up through the water as I was first through and the water was a fair bit higher than normal.
