Cheers Mattfunk. i did have a read of that. These guys were very difficult to deal with and dont want to come to any type of agreement. So to be honest im just going to leave it now. The spotties didnt cost me alot. I will just get some other decent ones and try and sell these ones possibly.

I have ordered 3 switches from aironboard the other day so am just waiting for those to come in. I got a spotties, LED Light Bar, and Battery link switch. Just want it to all look nice and neat.
Also purchased the kit to swap the radio to the top position. Hopefully its right and all fits well. Then i can finally fit my stereo back in.
Want to check with people here what they think of the VMS double din units? I have a normal double din unit but it is fairly dated and really wanted one that has 4wd tracks on it? I know Hema is ment to be good but do they have a double din unit? if anyone has used either it would be great to hear your thoughts

Hey guys
Got a few more things done on the rig. My new switches from air on board came in along with my kit to flip the radio to the top section.
Switches are great. Fit perfect and work well. Only thing I should have got them in green not blue, so it all looked factory. Either way it does the job.
The radio was pretty easy to put in. Everything fitted fine. You just have to take the air vents out of the old panel and put them in the new one, and then put all the little hello clips into the new panel as well. One thing I did find out was that the standard radio didn't actually fit into the new panel for some reason. Was a bit annoying but I had s double din eclipse unit I was going to put in anyway. But I ended up getting the newer eclipse unit so now I have to sell the old one. Don't have pics of this yet but will post them tomorrow.

Also went for a fish for salmon over the weekend so got to get the car out and about again which was great fun. The Light bar was real handy for the night fishing. Just left it on and was more then enough light to see what we were doing.

Where did you mount your Air Compressor?

I have the 2010 model and went chasing power. I bought a Chip and Exhaust package through Roo Systems and too be honest I would not chip search for the power again. It is expensive and the gains modest. Alot of my friends had great luck with the Stien chip. They however are dealing with big V8 cruisers and im starting to wonder if the gains are reflective of the engine size they started with.

Yeah cheers mate. I'm really happy with the rig. Does everything I want and need.
I Mounted the compressor in the rear next to the drawer system. Fits in nice and snug. Still have to finish the wings to the drawers and put an outlet on the rear of the drawers for the air hose

That's s bugger about the power. I have a mate that put the uni chip in and he said it made a big difference. Says its like a little rocket. He also has an after exhaust system on it. I will have a bit more a look into it. Thanks heaps for the feed back though.
Anyone else had the same issue with not really getting that much power out of chipping it?

Nice rig you have there. Many of the things you have done are also on my to do list. Was wondering if you might be able to post a photo of your stereo install please as I am planning on doing the same thing but was a little apprehensive about buying a new facia from from eBay

Yeah I was a bit apprehensive about it as well but just bit the bullet. But it's actually pretty good. Couldn't fault it really. Only thing it did t have was the logo for the vents to say which way is open or closed vent. But as I said previous you won't be able to put the original radio back in. It won't fit. So you will need and after market unit.

Also got around to installing my stereo back in the car finally. Cut all new spacer for the speakers to fit into. Was easy enough. Was a bit of fun pulling all the wiring through into the doors though, but got it done and I know it's done right now. Busted the rear panel of the rear window switch on the drivers side when I was putting the door trim back on. Had all the plugs in and was putting it back on and it slipped and fell out my hands and pulled the switch panel apart. So now have to get a new one. Bit of a bummer. But other then that it was all good. The wires for the amps need a bit of a tidy up but have to get some stuff for all of that.
